GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT PRODUCTS

All information regarding products and/or services published on the Pkumi Solar website will be posted with great attention to the information related to the essential characteristics of the products through technical descriptions from its collaborating companies and manufacturers, and photos that illustrate the products. All this is done within the limits of technology and respecting the highest market standards.

The color and tone of the product photos may vary depending on the monitor on which they are viewed. Likewise, the photos may undergo variations in tone and contrast due to the lighting conditions at the time they were taken.

DELIVERY

The Holder undertakes to deliver the products in good condition at the delivery address indicated on the order form. You may request delivery of the items to another address and another individual other than the one signing the order, provided that the delivery address is located within Portuguese territory on the mainland and Funchal (Madeira).

To optimize delivery, please provide an address where the order can be delivered during regular business hours. Please check the delivery times section to learn the estimated delivery time for an order.

The User can check the orders placed by sending an email to office@pkumi-trading.com.

If the recipient is absent at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave a new notice indicating how to proceed to arrange a new delivery. If it is not possible to leave the notice, the carrier will try to contact you by phone. If it is also not possible to establish contact through this last means, we will send you an email to the address provided during the purchase process, indicating the carrier's phone number so you can arrange delivery.

The shipping costs for the purchased items will be reflected at the final moment of purchase and will depend on the destination.

For the purposes of these Terms, "delivery" will be understood as having taken place or the product(s) as having been "delivered" at the moment of signing the receipt at the agreed delivery address.

DELIVERY TIMES

The delivery time for each product may depend on various factors such as origin, available stock, holiday schedule, etc.

Items will be delivered within the agreed period unless the customer wishes the merchandise to be delivered after the expected date. Confirmation of your order also implies acceptance of the delivery times determined for each product.

Occasionally, due to reasons beyond Pkumi Solar's control, the deadline may be delayed beyond the expected delivery date. In this case, the buyer may cancel the order by notifying their intention to cancel by email, and the amount will be refunded within a maximum of 14 days from the notification. Failure to deliver will not be considered as such if the delay was at the buyer's own will or if it was not possible to locate the buyer through the data provided by them.

TRANSFER OF RISK AND OWNERSHIP OF PRODUCTS

The risks of the products will be your responsibility from the moment they are delivered to you.

You will acquire ownership of the products when we receive full payment of all amounts due in respect of them, including shipping costs, or at the time of delivery if this occurs at a later time.

CANCELLATIONS

The customer may request the cancellation of their online order whenever it has not been shipped, in which case it will be treated as a cancellation. If the order has already been shipped, the cancellation request will be considered a return and must comply with what is established in the following section.

RETURN OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you believe the product does not conform to the contract upon delivery, please contact us immediately via email at office@pkumi-trading.com, providing product details and the damage it shows. In some cases, we may ask you to send us a photo of the imperfections.

Upon receipt of notification, we will contact you to inform you of how to proceed and through which courier agency to do so.

The consumer must return the product to the address indicated on the invoice received by email, stating the reason for the return. After verifying the product's condition, a refund will be processed.

A return cannot be processed if the damaged product has been wholly or partially assembled and/or altered and/or used, either by the customer or by one of our specialized assemblers. In this case, only defective parts will be replaced.

Generally, these are the steps to follow in the event of any return:

If the product(s) cannot be replaced, the amounts paid for the products returned due to any imperfection or defect, if any, will be fully refunded, including delivery costs incurred in delivering the item and costs incurred in its return.

In the case of partial returns (i.e., those in which items purchased together with other items in an order are returned), only the price of the returned items will be refunded.

The refund will be made through the same payment method used for the purchase.

WARRANTY OF PURCHASED PRODUCTS AND CLAIMS

In accordance with applicable consumer and user protection regulations, the Holder is responsible for any lack of conformity that manifests itself within the period stipulated by current legislation, starting from delivery.

If there is a lack of conformity, you must inform us within two months from when you became aware of it by sending an email to office@pkumi-trading.com, indicating your details, your purchase invoice number, and the anomaly detected. Failure to comply with this deadline will not entail the loss of the warranty, but you will be responsible for the damages or losses caused by the delay in communication. If there is a manufacturing defect, the Holder will be responsible for the return costs, as well as the costs related to labor and materials.

The item to be returned must be properly packaged for return. The packaging must be in good condition and retain all its accessories and original instructions to be returned.

The warranty will become void in case of defects or damage caused by external factors, accidents, wear and tear, improper installation or use of the product, mishandling, or use not in accordance with the supplier's instructions. Pkumi Solar is not responsible for defects caused by impacts, improper handling, misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, incorrect assembly or installation (different from that indicated in the manual). It should be noted that such incidents are not covered by the warranty and invalidate it.

Also excluded from the warranty are products modified or repaired by the customer or any other person not authorized by the supplier.

HOME DELIVERY CONDITIONS

Products purchased through the Pkumi Solar website can be sent to the postal address specified by the customer, which cannot be a PO box or public places such as public roads, squares, stations, airports, or similar.

Delivery will be made within approximately 10 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, for items available in stock. Times for different shipping methods are estimates and start from when the order leaves Pkumi Solar's warehouses (order status "In transit"). During special promotions, such as sales and/or free shipping, there may be delays in order dispatch.

The delivery time for items not available in stock will vary depending on the manufacturer's availability and will be adjusted to what was indicated at the time of purchase. For orders with multiple products, such as furniture, mattresses, decoration, etc., different deliveries may be made.

The goods can only be held in our warehouses for a maximum of 30 days from the usual delivery date.

Likewise, if the person responsible for receiving the goods is not at the delivery address on the date and time agreed with the transport agency, the expenses incurred by returning the goods and their subsequent delivery will be borne by the customer.

EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We will not be liable for any non-compliance or delay in the fulfillment of any of the obligations we assume under a contract whose cause is due to events that are beyond our reasonable control ("force majeure cause").

Force majeure causes will include any act, event, lack of exercise, omission, or accident that is beyond our reasonable control, including, among others, the following:

Strikes, lockouts, or other industrial action.

Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (declared or not) or threat or preparations for war.

Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, or any other natural disaster.

Impossibility of using trains, ships, planes, motor transport, or other means of transport, public or private.

Impossibility of using public or private telecommunications systems.

Acts, decrees, legislation, regulations, or restrictions of any government or public authority.

Strike, failures, or accidents of maritime or river transport, postal or any other type of transport.

It will be understood that our obligations derived from contracts will be suspended for the period in which the force majeure cause persists, and we will have an extension of time to fulfill such obligations for a period equal to the duration of the force majeure cause. We will use all reasonable means to bring the force majeure cause to an end or to find a solution that allows us to fulfill our obligations under the contract despite the force majeure cause.
